Prevention and response to violence

The program aims at promoting prevention and response to Sexual and Gender Based Violence among women and girls. AIDE employs the multisectoral approach to facilitate prevention and response to violence among girls and women through awareness campaigns, provide referrals as well as conduct advocacy initiatives to prevent violence. Furthermore, AIDE also provide awareness counseling and psychosocial support among survivors to help them heal from trauma. AIDE supports women and girls to set up safe spaces where they share experiences, receive information on prevention of violence and find healing. AIDE also provides survivors with startup kits and capital to set up income generation activities to reduce their vulnerability to poverty relates factors that lead to violence.
